Space Siege is an Action-RPG taking place on a space colonization ship under attack by aliens that seek to destroy humanity. Players have an upgradeable robotic companion and can also upgrade themselves, replacing their organs and limbs with cybernetic counterparts.

The game's title is a reference to the Dungeon Siege series, another franchise from the same developer and also designed by Chris Taylor.
